About TechLift

TechLift was created through Northeast Ohio’s successful proposal to Ohio’s Third Frontier Program Entrepreneurial Signature Program (ESP) in 2006. Read about the award.

TechLift exists to foster and encourage a strong environment for technology entrepreneurship in Northeast Ohio.

TechLift is focused on supporting, coaching and nurturing Northeast Ohio entrepreneurs in our region’s five signature technologies: advanced materials, biosciences, electronics, information and communication technologies, and advanced energy.

We provide a number of direct services delivered through our Signature Entrepreneurs-in-Residence, who are entrepreneurs and managers experienced in competing in these signature technology areas.

TechLift’s goal is to make the fact that you chose Northeast Ohio as the place to start and grow your technology business a competitive advantage over any other region in the U.S. or the world. You still have to make it on your own; we simply give you the assistance you need to raise your odds for success.

TechLift aims to be a force that drives collaboration and leverages resources to develop the best possible technology entrepreneurship climate in Northeast Ohio and make our region one of the best places in the nation for technology entrepreneurs.
